In the home of the sprinters, the public were not disappointed when the Tour de France delivered an excellent sprint finish once again, and once again it was the Manx Missile, Mark Cavendish that took the spoils. It was a messy into the wind sprint and with Cav without leadout man Renshaw he was probably not favorite for the win. But he made it look easy, and apparently with bronchitis! I still don’t think he can get the green as Petacchi will probably sprint for bonus points on Sunday, plus even if Cav wins Ale Jet needs to finish 5th or worse, and he still seems like the 2nd or 3rd best sprinter this year.

Fatboy can do no wrong snaring a 2nd place in the stage. He seems to be able to do no wrong. No changes in the top 2 positions, but Jangu leaps into 3rd spot. Two Phat 2 moves up a spot to 5th. Ominouse. No change down the bottom and the sprizes there seem to be sorted unless there are some odd results over the next 2 stages.
